New to 2016 is the John Deere Gator RSX860i.  The RSX 860i is the all new High Performance Utility Vehicle designed for those who demand speed, acceleration, power, versatility and maximum comfort!  This new Gator Utility Vehicle features a powerful 62 Horsepower engine that boasts an impressive top speed of 60 miles per hour! 

Here is an overview of all the awesome new features, improvements and enhancements of the John Deere Gator RSX 860i, brought to you by Mutton Power Equipment.

Power Steering

Along with a powerful top speed of 60 miles per hour, the Gator RSX 860i now comes with optional power steering.  The electric power assist steering (EPAS) system reduces steering efforts and features anti-kickback technology that reduces the amount of steering unwinding while operating in difficult terrain.  The power steering system is speed sensing, and adjusts the steering effort as the speed of the vehicle changes to allow maximum maneuverability in any terrain.

Winch Ready Chassis

Now the John Deere Gator RSX860i has the option to come pre-wired for a winch.  This greatly reduces the winch install time.  All of the power steering models of the RSX 860i chassis come pre-wired for a winch.  The winch ready chassis come factory installed with these components:

  • Winch wiring harness
  • Negative winch battery cable
  • Winch disconnect wiring harness

Backlit Toggle Switches

For maximum ease of use and visibility, the RSX860i now comes with backlit toggle switches!  No more fumbling around the dash at night, trying to find the headlight switch!  The backlit toggle switches come standard with every Gator RSX860i, for maximum comfort while night driving!

Spiral Bevel Front Differential and Painted Steering Knuckles

The front differential on the RSX860i comes with a spiral bevel design.  The helical design of this gear set is stronger, much quieter, and produces much less vibration than typical utility vehicles.

Another awesome design is the painted steering knuckles and control arms.  Both are painted after machining, in order to provide maximum protection against rust!
